Answers to the most frequent questions

Before your arrival

What time is it possible to check-in?

Check-in can be done from 14.00 onwards.

What time is the check-out?

We kindly ask our guests to check-out before 10:30.

Can I arrive before the check-in time?

Yes, this is possible! We kindly ask you to let us know when you book or the day of your arrival. We will proceed with the check-in, you can leave your luggage safely with us, and if possible, we will give you your room immediately.

Can I arrive after the check-in time?

Sure! We just kindly ask you to let us know either when you book or on the day of your arrival, in the morning if possible. Our reception closes at 20:00, however should you arrive later, let us know 30 minutes before you arrive and the gentlemen at the reception will receive you warmly. Otherwise, if you prefer less constraints, you can easily check-in online.

How far are you from Milan's city center?

With tram line 2, from the "Via L. Il Moro - Via Pestalozzi" stop (towards Bausan), you can reach Piazza Duomo in 15 minutes.

We are coming by car: are you in an area with traffic restrictions?

No, we are not in Milan's ZTL (limited traffic zone), and so there are no extra charges to reach us.

Do you have rooms that are handicap-friendly?

No, unfortunately our hotel does not have the necessary features to accommodate disabled guests. Being in an old, historic building, this is quite difficult to incorporate, but we are working hard to change this in the very near future.

Do you accept animals/pets?

We love animals! However, to safeguard the welfare of our guests with allergies, generally we do not accept animals. We do sometimes make exceptions for small-size animals.

When are we open?

We are open throughout the whole year, except for the 2 middle weeks of August.


Do you have private parking?

Yes, we have private parking, adjacent to the hotel. The price is €12,00 per day, and reservation is always recommended.

I have to check-out in the morning. Can I leave my car in the private parking until the afternoon?

Yes, you may leave your car until 14:00, without extra fees.

Do you have a shuttle service from the airport/train station?

Yes, we have a shuttle service available, upon reservation and at a cost. If you are interested, ask us: we will happily give you details and prices.

Bookings and Payment

Which payment methods you accept?

We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Cartasi), ATM, as well as advance bank transfers.

If I will pay for my stay during the check-out, why do I need to insert my credit card details when I reserve a room?

When booking online, we will pre-authorize your credit card (freezing of the amount of the booking on the card). This pre-authorization is only to guarantee the reservation: you will not be charged anything before your stay. In case of cancellation within the deadline, the pre-authorization will be cancelled.

I have booked a refundable room. Why have I been charged before arriving?

If the booking is refundable, we will not charge you anything; we will pre-authorize the total amount of your reservation If you would like to cancel within the cancellation conditions, the pre-authorization will be annulled.

What happens if I cancel the booking after the cancellation deadline?

You will be charged the amount of the booked stay.

What are your terms and conditions regarding a cancellation?

Cancellation is free up to 2 days before check-in. After this period and in case of no show (no show), we apply a penalty corresponding to the stay booked.
